Mood/Tone
This short story starts out with the mood of young boyish adventures. It is very innocent and pure, then they go to the city which is dirty and it starts to make a lead toward a more gritty side that hasn’t been shown yet in the story. Then they get to the meadow which is very happy at the start yet it also gets corrupted by a perverted man this leads into a tone of fear and anxiousness because they don’t know what this man is going to do. But the most critical line of the story is at the very end you see envious and jealous between the boys because one leaves the other and that one gets scared.
